Royal Purple enthusiast Matt Ruybal (@TeamNewMexExpress) recently changed the oil in his 1999 Nissan Sentra GXE with Royal Purple’s new high mileage engine oil, HMX.

Introduced to the market in the fall of 2013, HMX is formulated with robust zinc/phosphorus anti-wear additives and Royal Purple’s proprietary additive technology Synerlec®. Additional advantages over other synthetic or conventional motor oils include:

  • Minimizes wear and restores lost engine performance
  • Extends drain intervals
  • Exceptional oxidation stability
  • Reduces engine deposits
  • Superior corrosion protection
Royal Purple's HMX is idea for vehicles that have over 75,000 miles and are no longer under warranty.

Armed with HMX 10W30, Ruybal was able to complete the change on his Sentra with 118,000 miles on it in 15 minutes with no spills thanks to the “easy to handle” design of the bottle. “The first thing I noticed was the quieter engine operation,” he said. Prior to changing the oil he also ran our fuel system cleaner and fuel stabilizer Max-Clean through a full tank before he changed the oil.

HMX is available in 10W-30 and 5W-30 viscosities.

Two weeks later Ruybal contacted us to report his MPGs had improved to 34mpg from 31 on the first tank of fuel since changing to HMX.
