Synfilm Recap. 100 Reciprocating Air Compressor Oil

I purchased this due to running out of the factory ingersol oil.I was not expecting much other than an oil change for my Compressor….I saw online reviews saying it made compressors quieter…. to which I laughed at and thought people are stupid…. but it did make my compressor much quieter…..I always use the factory synthetic until my local store ran out and this was the only true compressor oil I could get… Good Stuff For Sure

I purchased a central pneumatic gas air compressor. I believe in buying new tools to work with and I don’t mind spending the money doing so. I take really good care of my small engine equipment and I need it to work when I go to use it. After a lot of research I decided to go with this compressor oil ounce the 10 hour break in was over. Glad I did as this oil actually quieted down the compressor and it runs cooler. This is the first time I used a royal purple product but it sure won’t be the last. If you want ur compressor to last and ur looking for a quality oil go with this.

Incredible lubrication properties with viscosity so slick and smooth that it definitely cuts down on the wear and tear associated when metal objects come in contact. I’ve read many other testimonials of people using this to lubricate high pressure air compressors (operate up to 4500 PSI). And while others have complained about excessive metal filing during break-in period, I couldn’t find any issues at all after running my new compressor for one hour. Others have said their #46 hydraulic oil gets very black. Nope, not with the Royal Purple Synfilm 100. Some complain of stinky smells (burning) with regular oils in high compression engines. Nope, this oil smells fresh despite running in a hot engine. So it turned out doing the initial oil change was totally unnecessary, despite the affordable/cheap Chinese compressor has a steel piston making direct contact with an aluminum crankshaft (bushing only, no bearing). My only “complaint” (not really) is that the oil appears as a deep, fairly dark color, so the sightglass on the compressor makes it difficult to know when to change the Synfilm. Still, it’s a great product to protect your beloved gear.

Looks like good quality oil, used in 80 gallon Husky after break in period. Can see the new oil in the sight glass better than the factory oil that was in the pump and that was nasty looking when I drained it out of the crankcase. Prolly just me thinking it but the compressor does sound like it runs smoother now!

Royal purple is a blend Pearson thetic that gives the air compressor its most optimum efficiency. It made my air compressor run quieter and I am sure I will see the 5000 hours out of it that the builder says it should give. It will stay sealed longer keep compression at its highest and give the smoothest operation available. Ive used it in old compressors and gave them new life restoring the quality of the compressor. In new compressors its just self-explanatory it works. Ive used it in several different compressors and every one of them has been quieter smoother and more efficient. Which Im sure will make them last longer!

It’s THICK. It’s synthetic. It’s got great film strength. It’s enough for 2 oil changes. It’s the grape juice baby.
