Royal Purple® Upgrades Max EZ® Packaging for Sustainability

26 Ryp 02249 Max Ez Photo P4

A new, more environmentally friendly bottle is set to hit the shelves for Royal Purple® Max EZ® Power Steering Fluid. This latest design incorporates new materials and increased recycled plastic content to provide more sustainable packaging. Here’s a look at what customers can expect from this evolution.

Key Packaging Details and Benefits

  • Material: The bottle will now be constructed from HDPE (high-density polyethylene), moving away from the previous PET (polyethylene terephthalate) material.
  • Sustainability: The new bottle resin mix will include 10% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic content, directly supporting our environmental goals.
  • Appearance: Due to the material change, the new bottle will have a less shiny appearance and a slightly more squared-off look.
  • Easy Pouring: Like the previous bottle, the new design will include the offset neck and finger grips for easy pouring.

The Advanced Formulation Remains the Same

There are absolutely no changes to the fluid formulation inside the bottle. Royal Purple customers will continue to receive the same state-of-the-art formulation featuring our proprietary Synerlec® additive technology, designed to maximize the life and performance of power steering units.

This packaging evolution supports our commitment to using more recycled plastic in packaging that is as dependable and high-performing as our formulations.
