High Performance Motor Oil European Formula

This is the only brand of oil I will put in my 2015 Kia Optima SX Turbo. Even with Kia’s ten year, 100k mile warranty, I like the piece of mind that my motor wont spontaneously die from using big box store brands at 100,001 miles. Great viscosity in hot/cold weather and great resistance to shearing that can occur when using 5W30 (even though thats what the oil filler cap asks for). Prevents notorious turbo dry starts and quieted down my motor unbelievably compared to the factory filled oil.

Royal Purple gets a LOT of hate in the car community. I’ve always been a fan of royal purples products and I’ve been somewhat impressed so far. I used BMW Genuine 0w-30 in my N54 (as recommended by BMW for my N54) and I noticed my oil started burning, pretty fast actually. I’d get grey/white smoke from the oil burning out the exhaust on startup. After 3100 miles I changed the oil again, but this time used this oil alongside a mann OEM filter. My white smoke and oil burning is gone! It’s been a few hundred miles, and no loss of oil. Engine runs smooth, and is a great buy. This stuff is not as expensive as people say, and especially if you buy it on ECS!

My vehicle calls for 5W40 which can be difficult to find in local shops and tends to cost more than more common weight oils. Royal Purple makes excellent oils and is very affordable at Summit Racing.

Royal Purple is a great performing oil. It cleans your engine and helps condition your seals. Its worth every penny especially when on sale. Blows my mind that more people dont use it, especially when ther is so much data and information about engine oil, and which ones are better than others. Make the switch and see for yourself.

I’ve been using RP for a few years now, and I think it’s great. I work for a mechanical seal manufacturing company and we recommend RP in all of our seal support systems, which works fantastically – so I now also use it in my personal vehicle engines. 5W40 is what I use in my Boxster and Cayenne. Summit is usually the fastest, and least expensive place to get it!

My oil is still in the containers. I have confidence in royal purple and the 5-40 combo is an all weather oil, easy on machinery.

I run Royal Purple exclusively in my Grand Cherokee SRT8. After 2 oil changes and 12,000 miles, running Royal Purple, I’ve have zero issues with oil burn-off. Long-term use will tell, but I’m confident with this product and its performance.

Royal Purple is the real deal. I run RP products in offroad racing because I save money in the long run. Times when I should take things easy, I push my engine to the edge. Thanks Jegs! Great price!

This is a very high quality oil with good high temp protection. Just like Redline, Lucas and Mobil 1, Royal Purple makes excellent products. I use Royal Purple motor oil, manual transmission fluid, gear oil and power steering fluid exclusively on my Corvette.

We use the 5W-40 oil in my daughters Volkswagen which now has over 237,000 miles on it. I also use the 10W-30 HPS oil in my 1977 Buick Electra. The only gripe I have is that Royal Purple doe NOT offer a filter for that 350 Buick engine, but a really good one is available at K & N. I have also noted that the Ring Brothers whose shop is about an hours drive from my house use Royal Purple in all their creations such as the Recoil Chevelle. Using Royal Purple in my cars is probably overkill, but oil is cheap compared to engines. The peace of mind is well worth it. No better oil out there!
