Extensive testing confirms Purple Ice reduces coolant temperatures better than comparable products while providing extra corrosion protection. For example, the average operating temperature of a 350 c.i.d. V8 engine (equipped with 160 ̊ thermostat) when dyno-tested with different coolants are:

RECOMMENDED TREAT RATE*
- For use with 50/50 antifreeze/coolant mixture: 1 oz./quart of cooling system capacity
- For use with straight water or higher water percentage antifreeze/coolant mixture: 2 oz./quart of cooling system capacity
* Minimum of 20% antifreeze is recommended in street-driven vehicles. Purple Ice does not provide freeze protection. Use an appropriate amount of antifreeze for the cold temperatures in your area.

This product works. Might have to buy more for other farm tractors, that runs a little on the hot side in summer temperatures.

My high compression 496 big block used to run 225° just driving on the highway, but after a flush and only using the royal purple / water combo, It now runs a high of 210° when I’m flexing on my musclecar. It’s a game changer for the fun factor.

It made my 2018 chrysler 300 run 10 degrees cooler with 50% water and 50% coolant. I have a digital coolant gauge so, I know for a fact. It used to run at 199-200 and now it runs at 189-190 when cruising.

Truck runs much cooler. Temps have been consistently over 100 degrees F. This brought the truck back down to normal operating temp.

It is a good thing to have if your trucks or vehicle ever gets to hot. It is just get it at any auto shop. It cost a lot less than CARiD and Summit Racing.

This stuff works really good, my bike was getting hot in the summer heat. so I put a bottle in and now runs much cooler five stars all day.

I’ve used this on several of my vehicles and it does drop the coolant temps!!

I use this product for my drag racing car, which has about 850 hp. The large aluminum radiator and single electric fan (with a shroud that covers most of the radiator) work extremely at keeping the engine cool. I can idle until I run out of gas and it won’t get over 160 degrees. At the track, I’m probably no more than 180 after a run. I use this product primarily because of its anti-corrosive benefits, especially since I have an iron block and aluminum heads (these metals react to each other). I did read an article that showed this product performed better than its leading competitor. Do your research, but I feel this is the best product out there for anti-corrosiveness as well as heat transfer. I highly recommend!
